Hot on the heels of her decision to resign as First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon had a busy time as she met with members of the community in Barrhead.
The SNP politician has announced she is to step down from the role after more than eight years.
On Friday, she celebrated Care Day 2023 with care-experienced children and young people at The Museum, in Barrhead.
The theme for this year's event was 'don't judge a book by its cover.'
Ms Sturgeon also made a surprise visit to Include Me 2 Club's Social Blend Cafe and Gift Shop at The Hub at James McGuire, in Main Street.
In a social media post, a spokesperson for the Barrhead charity said: "First Minister Nicola Sturgeon took time out her official engagement to visit the team, have a coffee and get a tour of our community hub.
"What a surprise. Great to showcase our people, work and space to our First Minister.
"P.S. she loved the coffee."
