East Renfrewshire musicians are being invited to showcase their talent at a busy shopping mall.
Silverburn Shopping Centre is on the lookout for new talent to take to the stage on weekend afternoons at their Busk Stop.
Taking place on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm across the mall, the February line-up is already confirmed to include Glasgow musicians Ryan Hunter, Maria McAveety, Paul Mullen, Thomas Sitheram, Daniel Ladds and Ben Montrith.

David Pierotti, general manager of Silverburn, said: “Since launching in October, live music at our dedicated Busk Stop has been a fantastic addition to the atmosphere and entertainment roster at Silverburn.”
From April Silverburn’s Busk Stop will take place on Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm.
The current line-up is dominated by guitarists and singers but the Busk Stop is also open to other genres of musicians.
“We’ve been working closely with Buskers of Glasgow to source and secure some superb musicians, but we want to attract even more names and offer them a free platform to showcase their talents,” added David.

After their set, each musician makes a small donation to Silverburn Cares, the shopping centre’s corporate and social responsibility scheme.
The initiative supports local community projects and charities.
Last year donations from buskers alone resulted in a £10,000 going to good causes including Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and Alzheimer Scotland.
