Lulu is to play a sold-out show in East Renfrewshire this April as she embarks on a tour to mark six decades of entertaining audiences.

On the eve of the 60th anniversary of her biggest hit Shout, the Scottish music legend is hitting the road for the first time since autumn 2019 with her ‘most intimate show to date’.

The star, who represented the UK at the 1969 Eurovision Song Contest, will combine story and clips with song at Eastwood Park Theatre (EPT) on April 19.

Those lucky enough to snap up a ticket will also have the opportunity to take part in a meet and greet with Lulu at the Giffnock venue.

The tour arrives at the theatre during EPT’s golden anniversary year, a milestone which was marked earlier this month.

Moira McFadden from the venue said: "We are excited to announce that Lulu: For the Record comes to Eastwood Park Theatre in April, as part of our 50th anniversary programme.

"It is an honour to welcome Lulu to our stage for what promises to be a fascinating insight into her hugely successful musical career."
