TWO men have been charged following a car crash near Barrhead.
Police were called to the scene in Aurs Road, near Balgray Reservoir, at around 10pm on Wednesday, January 4.
A 49-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident and was due to appear in Paisley Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Officers also charged a 50-year-old man in connection with an alleged assault and breach of the peace.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 10pm on Wednesday, January 4, we were called to a report of a one-car crash on Aurs Road, near Balgray Reservoir, Barrhead.
"A 49-year-old man was charged in connection with the incident and was due to appear in Paisley Sheriff Court on Thursday, January 5.
"A 50-year-old man was charged in connection with assault and breach of the peace and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
