One of the UK’s largest independent healthcare providers is looking to recruit over 100 new employees in Glasgow to tackle the care home staffing crisis.
Four Seasons Healthcare hopes to fill positions at all levels across care, nursing, home support and catering with both full and part-time roles on offer.
The search for workers is part of a nationwide recruitment drive which will see over 800 jobs created across Scotland in areas including Baillieston, Queenslie, Kirkintilloch, Cardonald, Cumbernauld, Broomhill and Clydepark.
There is no prior experience necessary for many of the roles with Four Seasons Healthcare promising a high level of job satisfaction for successful applicants who will be offered training programmes to help them progress in their new career.
Alan Logan, care assistant at Burlington Court Care Home, Glasgow said: “I chose to work in care because I wanted to be in a role where I was able to help people live comfortably and support them through their later years.
“I first joined Four Seasons as a care assistant in 2009 and recently returned after working with the NHS for a while.
"Since coming back I’ve valued how supportive and compassionate our team are, as well as building close personal relationships with our residents.
“It’s great to be able to come into work and feel like I can be my authentic self whilst enriching the lives of those we care for.
“Each night I go home happy, knowing that I have made a difference to them and improved their well-being.”
