East Renfrewshire residents are being encouraged to help make sure any elderly and vulnerable neighbours are safe and well this winter.
The plea has been issued by bosses at East Renfrewshire Council amid concerns that some people in the local area could be suffering in silence.
Councillor Owen O’Donnell, council leader, said: “Please check in on your elderly and more vulnerable neighbours this winter if you can.”
