A NEW restaurant which was set to open at Silverburn shopping centre this year has been delayed.
Stailinn Scottish Kitchen is the latest venture by the team behind popular Ayrshire eateries Drunken Coo Steakhouse, Hollybush Inn, Arthur Street Kitchen and Stage Door Cafe.
The firm said in June that the restaurant, which will be the company's first in Glasgow, would start serving this year.
They posted on their Facebook page: "We are delighted to announce Stailinn Scottish Kitchen. Coming to Silverburn later this summer."
However a poster has now appeared at the premises saying the opening has been moved to next year.
It reads: "Coming early 2023, traditional Scottish cooking - breakfast, lunch, dinner, beer, wine and cocktails."
The restaurant will have a balcony bar as well as a seated area, and for those who don't feel like venturing out, it sounds like delivery is on the cards as there will be an area for Just Eat collections.
