Police are investigating a series of targeted incidents in the Bradford East area of the city.
Detectives from West Yorkshire Police have connected the crimes – including arson and assault – which took place overnight on Sunday evening and the early hours of Monday morning.
A number of police scenes are in place as officers work to establish what happened.
A spokesperson believed the targeted incidents are linked to a large fire on Buck Street in the BD3 area of the city.
It attracted a major emergency response from over 10 different fire stations across Bradford, Kirklees and Leeds.
Detective Inspector Will Tsang, of Bradford CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents which at this stage are believed to be connected.
“I would like to reassure the local community that there is no wider risk to the public and additional patrols are in place in the area.
“I would urge anyone with information or video footage relating to any of these incidents to contact us.”
Anyone with information about the incidents is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police by calling 101, quoting reference 13220543783.
