AN East Renfrewshire man is due to stand trial after being accused of having stun guns disguised as an iPhone and a torch.
Saqib Shahid, 31, is said to have been in possession of the devices at his home in Giffnock on May 1 last year.
He faces alternative charges of having a prohibited weapon designed for the discharge of a "noxious liquid, gas or thing."
Shahid is further accused of drug supply allegations in connection with an address in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow on the same date.
Lawyers on his behalf pled not guilty at a hearing at the High Court in Glasgow.
Shahid is due to stand trial on October 30 next year.
His bail was continued meantime.
