A By-election will take place in Glasgow next month.
The poll has been called to elect a councillor for the Linn ward, in the south of the city, following the death of former Labour group leader, Malcolm Cunning last month.
The vote will take place on Thursday, November 17.

One councillor will be elected to the ward which has four councillors.
In May this year at the council elections Linn elected two Labour and two SNP councillors.
Mr Cunning won the most first preference votes with 2152, more than 200 ahead of Paul McCabe of the SNP, who was also elected with 1934 votes.
The popular Labour politician, who had been a councillor for almost 20 years, died last month after a short illness
For candidates wishing to stand nomination papers must be delivered to the Election Office, 40 John Street, Glasgow, no later than 4pm on Monday, 17 October 2022.
Currently, the SNP is the largest party at the council with 37, Labour has 35.
The greens have 10 and the Conservatives 2.
