CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a man who was last seen at Cameron House three days ago.

George Brown, known as Douglas, was reported missing from Bridge of Weir after he was last spotted at the resort at Loch Lomond at around 6pm on Friday, September 30.

The 66-year-old is described as white, 6ft in height, of medium build, with white receding hair and green eyes.

When he was last seen he was wearing a grey kilt jacket, a grey kilt style waistcoat, a kilt, long black socks, and black shoes.

Police say it is possible George could have travelled to the Dumbarton or Ayrshire areas.

Sergeant Sharon Crawford said: “We are concerned for George as time goes on and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"I would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him since 6pm on Friday to get in touch.”

Anyone who may have seen George or has any information on his whereabouts is urged to contact police via 101, quoting reference number 2649 of October 2, 2022.
