A MAN has been arrested after reportedly threatening staff at a shop in the Clyde Shopping Centre at knifepoint.
Police were called to the scene at a shop on Sylvania Way shortly after 9am on Saturday, October 1 following reports of an alleged armed robbery.
Officers have since confirmed that a 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the reported incident.
The man has also been charged in connection with a further alleged attempted robbery at a supermarket on Queen Margaret Drive which cops say took place at around 12.50pm on the same day (October 1).
The 44-year-old is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, October 3.
