TWO Clydebank youngsters have been named as September’s Young Sports Stars of the Month.
Zach Drummond, from Clydebank High School, and Connor Callaghan, from St Stephen’s Primary School in Dalmuir, came out on top this month as they took home the Active Schools title.
Zach competes at a national level in go-karting and has won various tournaments all over the world at his age level.
Connor has been described as a great team player who makes sure that everyone feels included.
He has displayed a range of skills across a variety of sports and is currently training with a local football team.
A spokesperson for Active Schools and West Dunbartonshire Leisure (WDL) sent their congratulations to the youngsters.
The Active Schools Team is always on the lookout for new volunteers to help get kids across West Dunbartonshire more active, more often.
