A COMMUNITY growing project is hosting a harvest celebration this weekend.
Incredible Edible Neilston has organised Sunday’s event as part of the nationwide Dandelion programme, which encourages people to sow, grow and share food, music and ideas.
It will take place at Neilston Scout and Community Hall from noon until 3pm and is free to attend.
A spokesperson for Incredible Edible Neilston said: “We’ll have face painting, a family ceilidh, storytelling, forest school activities, cooking demonstrations, a veg give away, arts and crafts and more.
“The harvest festival is a celebration of all our growing this year.
"bring a picnic and come and enjoy the family fun!
"Folk can also bring any fruit, veg or herbs they've grown that they'd like to share."
The cooking demonstrations will be held by Neilston-based cookery school Totnosh.
