Hillwood Thistle FC net sponsorship deal from housebuilder

Members of Hillwood Thistle FC’s 2012 team are looking good after Taylor Wimpey West Scotland agreed to sponsor their strips.

The deal means youngsters will sport the company’s name on their kit during league matches organised by the East Renfrewshire Soccer Development Association.

Stuart Mochrie, head coach, told the Barrhead News that sponsorship deals are hugely important for clubs such as Hillwood Thistle.

He said: “This is a new team in Barrhead and we’re thrilled to have received this helpful donation from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland.

“We are so grateful for their support of initiatives like ours in the local community.

“Our 2012s team members are very proud to wear this new strip and they are bursting with talent.

“We’re delighted to see them all looking so smart and professional as they approach every game and their training sessions.”

Bosses at Taylor Wimpey, which is currently building new homes at the Duncarnock development in Barrhead, will now be cheering on the Hillwood Thistle players as they go for glory.
