East Renfrewshire residents are being urged to have their say on how public transport is delivered in the area.

Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) has launched a public consultation on the draft Regional Transport Strategy (RTS) for the west of Scotland.

It sets out plans to address issues such as improving connections and reducing pollution.

Once approved by Scottish ministers, the strategy will set the transport framework for SPT and its partners over the next 15 years.

Policies in the draft RTS include setting a minimum level of public transport service which local communities can expect, improving the quality and integration of bus services and delivering change in active travel infrastructure.
