A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy East Renfrewshire road.
Emergency services rushed to the scene this morning after a van collided with a crash barrier and went down an embankment on Lochlibo Road by Neilston.
The driver was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital but no details about her condition have been released.
The road was closed for around 30 minutes and re-opened around 10am.
A police spokesperson told the Barrhead News: “Around 9.05am on Wednesday, August 3, police received a report of a one-vehicle road crash on Lochlibo Road.
“The vehicle collided with a crash barrier and went down an embankment.
“Emergency services attended and the female driver was taken to the RAH.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
