POLICE have appealed for help to find a man who has gone missing from Busby.
Rory Derbyshire, 45, was last seen in Easterton Avenue at around 6pm on Monday.
He is described as around 5ft 11ins tall with short dark hair. He has a distinctive scar on his left jawline.
When last seen, Rory was wearing a black hooded top with a 'Boss; emblem, blue jeans and dark trainers. He was also in possession of a dark coloured rucksack.
He has previously been known to frequent Whitelee Wind Farm, in Eaglesham.
Police Inspector William Campbell said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Rory who has not been seen since yesterday. This is an extremely worrying time for his family and friends.
"Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him.
"I would urge anyone who has any information on Rory's whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 3359 of August 1."
