Police were called to a sudden death in Neilston last night.
The tragic incident, which took place near Kingston Road, is not being treated as suspicious, officers have confirmed.
A number of emergency vehicles were sent to the scene.
Part of Kingston Road, which runs past Commore Dam, was closed to traffic.
Police enquiries are at an early stage, with no further details available at this time.
