A DISABILITY charity that provides vital support for people in need has been handed a welcome donation.
Recent funding provided by East Renfrewshire Good Causes has helped Cosgrove Care purchase 16 tablet devices.
The new devices will allow local people with learning disabilities to get connected and take part in online activities.
Russell MacMillan, who runs East Renfrewshire Good Causes, visited Cosgrove’s offices in Giffnock to hand over the tablets to Cosgrove Care’s chief executive Heather Gray.
Heather said: “We are really delighted to have received this support.
“Many of the people we work with have been isolated during lockdown and the tablets will allow them to take back some control of their lives.
“We are really pleased that yet more local people are benefitting from the support of this charity.”
