A MAN has appeared in court after a police raid in Barrhead led to the seizure of drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds.
Francesko Hoxhaj, 24, faces cannabis growing charges in connection with the swoop, which took place on Thursday, May 5.
He appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court the next day, where he made no plea and was remanded in custody for further examination.
A 28-year-old man was arrested in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow in connection with the same UK-wide investigation.
He was also detained in custody pending a court appearance.
