Motorists in East Renfrewshire are being warned about disruption caused by maintenance work at a busy road later this month.
The southbound carriageway of the M77 will be closed between Junction 2 and Junction 3, at Darnley, from 8pm until 6am on both Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22.
Diverted traffic travelling southbound on the M77 will exit at Junction 2 and continue on the B762 (Barrhead Road), followed by the A726 (Nitshill Road), before rejoining the motorway at Junction 3.
Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout the roadworks, which are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if conditions are not favourable.
Motorists can get real-time journey information by visiting www.trafficscotland.org.
