It was a thrilling encounter at Dunterlie Park last night as Arthurlie beat Maybole 3-2 to secure promotion to the West of Scotland Premier Division and maintain their unbeaten league record.
The Barrhead side scored three after the break to stage an epic comeback after losing two goals in the first half.
Visitors Maybole needed a win to have any chance of finishing in the top four and they were handed a route back into the game when Jordan Leyden was penalised for a challenge in the box in the 77th minute.
When the big moment came, however, 'Lie keeper James Scott dived low to his left to keep out the resultant spot-kick.
