The referee's full-time whistle sparked jubilant scenes at Dunterlie Park last night as Arthurlie secured promotion to the West of Scotland Premier Division.
The Barrhead team battled back from 2-0 down against Maybole to record a 3-2 victory and seal the Conference A title.
Second half goals from Jordan Leyden, Lee Roulston and Dale Simeon – not to mention a penalty save by James Scott – ensured Andy McFadyen’s troops also maintained their unbeaten league record.
Footage shot at the end of the game shows just how much the result meant to everyone involved.
While another clip shows the players heading off the pitch to the cheers of the spectators who came down to see them take the title.
