A NEW service for older men is to be launched at an East Renfrewshire community hub.
The Men’s Breakfast Club will meet at The Bank, in Main Street, Neilston, on a fortnightly basis.
It is hoped the initiative, run by Neilston Development Trust (NDT), will deliver a similar boost to that provided by the You, Me and a Cup of Tea group, which is attended by a growing number of women in the village and aims to help people move away from social isolation brought about by the Covid pandemic.
Numbers at the new group will be limited, so those interested in going along should get in touch as soon as possible.
A spokesperson for NDT said: “The group will be dementia friendly and we are happy to include carers.
“If you would like to attend, or if you think you know anyone who would benefit, please get in touch with jennifer.carroll@neilstontrust.co.uk or call us on 0141 561 1201.”
