FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Barrhead street after a caravan went up in flames.
Crews raced to Craighead Street shortly after 10pm on Wednesday and managed to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were alerted at 10.18pm on Wednesday, March 23, to reports of a fire affecting a caravan in Craighead Street, Barrhead.
"Operations control immediately mobilised two fire engines to the location and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire.
"Crews left the scene after ensuring the area was made safe."
