A NEW club which aims to tackle social isolation is finally up and running after its launch was delayed by Covid concerns.
You, Me & A Cup of Tea is aimed at older members of the community.
It is being run by the Neilston Development Trust (NDT) at The Bank, in the village’s Main Street.
The first session was well attended by residents, who enjoyed afternoon tea.
It had been due to take place in December but was postponed due to a surge in Covid cases caused by the Omicron variant.
Sessions will now take place every Wednesday, from 12.30pm until 2.30pm.
Lunch is always provided at the event, which is being run in association with the Life Changes Trust.
