ONE of Scotland's best-loved pop stars has added an extra East Renfrewshire show to a forthcoming UK tour.

Marti Pellow, who found fame in the 1980s and 90s as frontman of chart-topping band Wet Wet Wet, will take centre stage at Eastwood Park Theatre on Sunday, November 6.

An evening performance of his new show – Pellow Talk – sold out within hours of being announced.

As a result, a 2pm matinee performance at the Giffnock venue has now been added.

Pellow Talk will see Marti singing some of his best-known hits, as well as chatting about his impressive career.

He said: "You’ve never seen me like this before, you’ve never been this close.

"Pellow Talk is a chance to learn all about me, not just as a singer and songwriter with Wet Wet Wet but as a boy and a man. It’s a chance to understand the DNA of the hits that we’ve listened to and loved over the years.

"There’ll be laughter as we travel from the banks of the River Clyde to the top of the charts, then onto Broadway and beyond."

Standard tickets cost £30, with VIP tickets priced at £45. Fans can also snap up 'meet and greet' tickets for £75, which include premier seating, a goody bag and a chance to meet Marti.
