A MAN was injured after he was struck by a falling tree near Barrhead.
Emergency services responded to the scene on Barrhead Road near to Boydstone Road after the alarm was raised at around 1.30pm yesterday.

Officers confirmed that the man was being treated by paramedics at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received report of a man having been injured after being struck by a fallen tree on Barrhead Road near to Boydstone Road around 1.30pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021."
