PANTO will return to East Renfrewshire this weekend...oh yes it will.

Production company Spillers have vowed to present a show-stopping magical tale with a modern twist as Peter Pan is performed at Eastwood Park Theatre from Friday, November 26, until Thursday, December 30.

Last year’s panto had to be scrapped as the Covid pandemic led to strict lockdown rules.
However, theatre bosses have said the 2021 version will be the Giffnock venue’s “biggest ever” Christmas spectacular.

Anthony McReavy, of East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure, told the Barrhead News: “Everyone missed out on the panto magic in person last year but our talented cast have many tricks up their sleeves that are sure to delight the audience and we are excited to bring an extra special show to the stage to make it our best year ever.”

Nicholas Devlin, a Glasgow Academy Musical Theatre of Arts graduate, takes on the lead role as Peter."

He will be joined by 28-year entertainment industry veteran Chris De Rosa as panto villain Captain Hook.

Dancer, actor, magician and illusionist Louise Andrée Douglas will play both Tiger Lilly and Mrs Darling.

The cast also includes Garry King, as Smee, and Abbie Purvis as Tinkerbell.

Tickets cost from £9 for children, £11 for concessions and £13 for adults.
Panto fans can also buy a family ticket, for two adults and two children, with prices starting at £40.
