A GLASGOW-based care home owner has donated funds to a boys' football team for away kits.
Scott Shearer, who owns JSL Care Ltd, made the kind gesture to the Barrhead 2009s.
JSL Care Ltd owns two care homes in the city's Southside - Glenlivet Gardens and Bonnyholm Gardens. 
The squad recently paid a visit to Glenlivet Gardens in Darnley to say their thanks to their sponsor JSL Care Ltd and the care home community.
They donned their new kits and posed for a team photo with Scott and head coach Brian Keay.
Brian said: “Without the local community support from Scott we would not be able to keep fifty kids playing on a weekly basis, and as such we are extremely grateful for such an amazing gesture!”
Barrhead currently play in both Glasgow and East Renfrewshire leagues, encouraging football in children of all ages.
They also have a girls' league and a veterans' league.
