Construction giants Taylor Wimpey West have donated £500 to improve the grounds of a Barrhead primary school.
They money will be used at Hillview Primary, in Springhill Road, to buy new shrubs, plants and flowers for planters to spruce up the entrance to the building.
Headteacher Melanie McGurren said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received.”
Taylor Wimpey is currently in the middle of a major house building project in the Springhill Road area of Barrhead.
Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director, added: “Working with local businesses and organisations means a great deal to us.”
The money was presented last week to Hillview Primary pupil council representatives by sales executive Lorraine Scoular.
