POLICE have named a Barrhead teenager who died in a horror road crash.
Jay Morrison, 19, suffered fatal injuries in the incident, which took place in Nitshill Road, near to its junction with Levern Bridge Road, at around 11.35pm on Friday, September 17.
He was driving a red Vauxhall Corsa when it veered off the road.
Jay was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow, but died in the early hours of Saturday, September 18.
Sergeant Kenny Malaney, of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Morrison at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 4182 of Friday, September 17."
