AN animal charity is appealing for information after a dog was found in East Renfrewshire.
The female Shih Tzu was found in Newton Mearns on Tuesday, September 7, and is now at the Scottish SPCA's rehoming centre, receiving emergency care.
A spokesperson for the charity said: "She is chipped but the details are unfortunately out of date.
"She is currently receiving emergency vet care at our Glasgow Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre."
