SIX more people have died in Scotland after contracting coronavirus, the latest figures reveal.
The deaths, among people who tested positive in the previous 28 days, bring the total under that measurement to 7930.
A further 1456 cases were also recorded by Public Health Scotland, with a positivity rate of 6.2% – up from 4.6% yesterday.
Some 474 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid, down 16 in 24 hours.
Of those, 60 were in intensive care, no change from yesterday.
A total of 4,007,577 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,162,662 have received their second dose.
