All those living or working in East Renfrewshire are invited to an online talk which aims to put autism in the spotlight.
Organised by the local branch of the National Autistic Society, the free event will be delivered by Dr Chloe Farahar.
She is part of Aucademy – a collection of autistic academics, researchers, teachers, speakers, trainers and advocates who are striving to educate others on the autistic experience.
The talk will cover what autism is and what it is not, including myths and misconceptions.
It will also discuss topics such as ‘autistic strengths’ and ‘mind your language,’ as well as offering practical things people can do, whatever their role, to make environments neurodivergent inclusive.
