COMEDIAN Kevin Bridges says he has '17 years of jokes' up his sleeve after unveiling a backlog of notepads containing skits.

The 34-year-old revealed he was having a clear-out when he stumbled upon a box of notepads containing ideas for his comedy.

He took to Twitter last night to tell his fans: "Over 17 years of jokes. Some that made it and some that went off the rails. Some that will make it out one day..."

Bridges, who grew up in Clydebank before settling in the city's West End, has recently been testing his new material with a stint at The Stand in Newcastle where restrictions allow for live comedy shows to go ahead.

Glasgow Times:

The funnyman is due to become a dad this year with his wife Kerry expecting their first child.

Kevin and Kerry got engaged in June 2018 after several years of dating.

The pair married an intimate ceremony at St Peter's Catholic Church in Partick in 2019.

They later held their reception at The Cruin on the banks of Loch Lomond.
