A MAN has been charged in connection with the death of a Neilston man whose body was found in the grounds of a hospital earlier this year.

The 26-year-old suspect has been arrested following an investigation into the death of Stephen Quigley, who was discovered off Craw Road, near the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH) in Paisley, on the morning of Wednesday, March 24.

Quigley, 26, is believed to have left an address in the Bourock Square area of Barrhead and headed to the RAH in a blue Ford Focus at around 5pm on March 23.

His death had initially been treated as unexplained, as enquiries were carried out by Police Scotland’s Major Investigation Team to establish the full circumstances.
