East Renfrewshire Council is looking for local ideas to inspire the design of two new gateway entrance features in Neilston.

The local authority has appointed an artist to create and install the steel sculptures within the community and it is hoped that residents will provide an insight into which historical and modern aspects of the village are important to them and could be incorporated into the project.

Residents can share their thoughts by sending in specific ideas to the council or by completing an online survey.

If you have any specific ideas for a sculpture design that you would like to be considered for a gateway entrance feature into Neilston, email these to frances.tonner@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk.
