Part of Uplawmoor Road will be shut for seven weeks
A MAJOR road in Neilston is set to shut for seven weeks as work to install a new water main takes place.
Drivers planning to use Uplawmoor Road between Monday, May 17, and Saturday, July 4, should expect disruption.
It will be closed between Glen Doll Road and Double Hedges Road, including Orr Terrace, Molendinar Terrace, Makeking Terrace and Brig O’Lea Terrace at their junctions with the village’s Main Street.
Work will be carried out in four phases.
