A pony has died after a huge blaze erupted at a Barrhead farm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) attended the scene at Salterland Farm late last night.
Eyewitness footage taken from a car passing by at the time showed a cloud of smoke and flames rising from the fire.

Jim McNeill, SFRS local senior officer for Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde, told the Barrhead News: “We were alerted at 11.13pm on Tuesday, May 4 to reports of a farm building on fire at Salterland Road, Barrhead, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene and firefighters extinguished the fire.
“Sadly one animal passed away.
“Our thoughts are with everyone affected.”
Police were made aware of the fire at around 11.40pm last night and are currently treating it as unexplained.
A spokesman for Police Scotland added: "There were no injuries to any persons, however, one animal was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Enquiries into the circumstance surrounding the fire are ongoing."
