YOUNGSTERS in Barrhead are being invited to take part in an Easter-themed event this weekend which puts a twist on the traditional egg hunt.
Families will use the ‘what3words’ app on their mobile phones to hunt for clues that will lead them to a chocolate egg-shaped prize on Saturday, April 3.
Organisers of The Big Barrhead Easter Egg Hunt will also be posting clues across the @allaboutbarrhead social media channels to help participants find their way to the prize.
The free event on Saturday will take place from 11am to 3pm and is open to all ages.
Prizes are limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
Those taking part should follow social distancing and hand sanitising guidelines.
