Police renew their appeal for information after hit-and-run incident
Traffic police have renewed their appeal for information on a hit-and-run incident on the outskirts of Barrhead.
Cara McCarthy needed hospital treatment after the stolen Vauxhall Omega hit her Audi, leaving both vehicles badly damaged.
She was driving along Caplethill Road on December 15 when she was hit by the car coming in the opposite direction at high speed.
Police are still hunting two youths who were in the Vauxhall but ran off without trying to help Cara and left the stolen car at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are continuing and anyone with information can contact Police Scotland through 101.”
