Police have arrested a 32-year-old man after an alleged armed robbery at a Barrhead grocers earlier this month.
Officers were called to the Premier Store, in the town's Cross Arthurlie Street, on the morning of Sunday, January 3.
Police said two raiders confronted a 25-year-old shop assistant and threatened him with a knife.

Some items were taken during the incident, although officers did not provide further details.
A police spokesman said the 32-year-old suspect was detained in Barrhead at around 3pm yesterday after he was spotted in the street by shop staff.
He was taken to Govan Police Office, in Glasgow, where he was kept overnight.
The spokesman said: "Police arrested a 32-year-old male on Thursday, January 21.
"The suspect is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court."
Police inquiries are still being carried out in a bid to trace a second suspect.
