The driver was arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A MOTORIST has been charged with drink-driving and driving while disqualified after being stopped by police in Barrhead.
The 48-year-old Audi driver was arrested in the town's Carlibar Road shortly after 2am on Sunday after giving a positive roadside breath test.
Further checks then revealed that the man was also banned from driving.
He was expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday in connection with the alleged offences.
