THE Met office has warned of heavy rainfall across East Renfrewshire today and overnight.
Forecasters have issues a yellow warning as persistent rain is expected today and into the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Rainfall totals of 40-50mm and strong winds are expected throughout the area.

A Met Office statement reads: “Heavy rain will persist throughout Wednesday with some disruption likely due to flooding.”
The Met Office is also warning that possible disruption to bus and train services as well as flooding on roads may result in longer journey times.
