Fire crews are currently tackling a blaze in Coatbridge.
Four fire engines were rushed to Gartsherrie Road at 4.32am this morning.
The section of the street between Hornock Road and Hollandhurt Road remains closed off as two fire engines are in attendance.
It is currently unknown if there are any casualties.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We were alerted at 4.32am on Tuesday, September 29, to reports of a domestic garage on fire at Hornock Cottages, Coatbridge.
“Operations Control mobilised four appliances and a heavy rescue unit to the scene, which was a detached private garage.
“Eleven people were evacuated from adjacent properties as a precaution.
“One woman received treatment from the Scottish Ambulance Service for slight smoke inhalation.
“Firefighters are currently still in attendance as they continue to dampen down the area.”
