EAST Renfrewshire’s MP put her best foot forward to coin in cash for charity.
Kirsten Oswald took part in the Kiltwalk initiative, which saw volunteers tackle a variety of fundraising challenges whilst wearing something tartan.
The SNP politician completed a trek through East Renfrewshire that saw her start off in Uplawmoor and head through Neilston and Barrhead before moving on to Eaglesham, Waterfoot, Clarkston and Netherlee.
Ms Oswald finished her tour with a final walk from Newton Mearns through Whitecraigs and into Giffnock.
Along the way, she raised more than £250 for the Cosgrove Care charity, which helps to improve the lives of people with additional needs and their families.
Ms Oswald told the Barrhead News: “It was a long day but a good one, walking through lovely East Renfrewshire and raising funds for a fantastic local charity.”
