The death of a Glasgow man is officially being treated as murder, police have confirmed.
Omer Sadiq was found seriously injured by officers who were flagged down on Boydstone Road on Tuesday afternoon.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died a short time later.
Enquiries have been ongoing and following the results of a post mortem, police have launched a murder probe.
Detective Inspector Brian Gribbons, based at Govan CID, said: "We are following a positive line of enquiry however we would still appeal to anyone who has any information about this incident to contact us.
"We believe this was a targeted attack and there was no wider risk to the public."
