EAST Renfrewshire’s Community Safety team have been out in force reminding pet owners to ‘bag and bin’ their dogs mess.
Residents are being encouraged to not allow their pets to “spoil the streets” when out for a walk in the community.
A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Council, said: “Our community safety team has been out across East Renfrewshire reminding anyone with a dog to bag it and bin it.
“We are pleased that the vast majority of dog owners act responsibly, but there is a minority who spoil our streets and public spaces. If you don’t clean up after your dog, you are risking a fine of up to £80.”
